Our history
From a friendship in the 1940s to the first yellow pill

The story began during the 1940s when Jean Bailleul and Alphonse Bigou first met, marking the birth of a friendship that eventually led to the creation of Bailleul laboratories in 1949.
- 1949
A few years before that, Jean Bailleul first invented the Cystine nutritional supplement later named 'Cystine Bailleul'.
- 1975
Bailleul Laboratories investigated Cystine uses in different therapeutic areas such as acne, alopecia, and psoriasis for years, till 1975 when they started adding Vit B6 to Cystine. The first Yellow Pill was born and named Cystine B6.
- 1979
By 1979, Bailleul laboratories expanded internationally and diversified their therapeutic areas developing new products to improve patient lives.
- 2007
In 2007 Bailleul laboratories was launched, focusing on creating innovative and safe skin and hair care products for all users all around the globe.
